Who can apply for an internship at Ohjaamo?
The following students can apply for an internship at Ohjaamo:
- Vocational school students
- Vocational institute students
- University of applied sciences students
- University students
Our interns have often been students in youth and leisure instruction, community education, and social services. However, students from other fields are also welcome to apply. Read below to see what kinds of tasks are available at Ohjaamo!
What kind of internship does Ohjaamo offer?
At Ohjaamo, interns have the opportunity to engage in a variety of tasks and gain a broad understanding of the services available to young people in Kerava. Tasks are tailored to suit each intern’s studies and the objectives of their internship. If necessary, the internship can be completed in cooperation with, for example, outreach youth work.
The internship can consist of one or more of the following components:
- Information, counselling, and guidance work
- Individual work (in cooperation with, for example, outreach youth work)
- Group facilitation
- Planning and organizing events and activities
- Networking
- Communication tasks, such as content creation for social media and websites
- Other possible tasks
What is the duration of the internship?
The duration of internships varies from a few weeks to several months.
Who are the internship supervisors?
Currently, the internship supervisors are the Ohjaamo coordinator, Ohjaamo workers, and outreach youth workers. The internship position for autumn 2024 has been filled.
