CV, job application and job interview – support in every step

Looking for a job can feel overwhelming, but you are not alone in it. Ohjaamo provides support throughout your job search, one step at a time. Many Ohjaamos have an employment expert, who can help you explore your options and find suitable job opportunities.

We will help you create a job application and a CV, practise job interviews and talk about highlighting your strengths as a job seeker.

Don't have any previous work experience? Don't worry. You can include studies, projects, hobbies, voluntary work or other skills in your CV. We will look at everything you already have, which is often more than you think.

We will also talk about how your phone and social media can help you in job search. Not all jobs are publicly advertised – you might find them through a friend or social media, for example. Let's think together about what you should say in the message or phone call.

Ohjaamo provides encouragement, support and information about different options. No two career paths are the same, and it's completely okay.

Employment contract, salary and other important terms

Job search comes with many concepts that may seem confusing. At Ohjaamo, we can explain them clearly and comprehensibly. We can discuss together what an employment contract means, how the salary is determined and what you should pay attention to before starting work.

We will tell you about different benefits and opportunities, such as the summer job voucher, employment voucher for young people and employment subsidy, which can help you get a job. We can discuss together which option suits you best: paid employment or entrepreneurship, for example.
